T.G.I.F. Try Going

It is still hot in the South and actually it is hotter today than it was yesterday and it might be even hotter tomorrow.  Hot or not, I sure am glad that Friday is here.  The top of the cat tree, make that Sister Sascha’s cat tree, is a purrfect place to catch the cool air blowing through the house.  But someone is trying to get me to move, and it isn’t Sister Sascha.  The T.G.I.F for today is Try Going, It’s Full.

Adopt cats, we deserve it!

Sister Dolly was up checking out the cat tree, and she never does that so I think Sister Sascha might have put her up to it. I was very polite, as always, but I did tell her to move on.

So what’s your plans for the weekend?  We’re just going to try and stay cool and we are going to have special purrs and prayers going out to all those affected by the horrible wild fires.  That’s some scary stuff.

Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Sister Dolly might want some cool air :-) It’ll be over 100F around where we live tomorrow…hot hot hot. We’ll stay indoors during daytime, for sure. Stay cool and have a great weekend!

  5. Cindy Dodd says:

Aren’t the fires awful? All the poor animals, too, as well as the people.
Try not to fight to much, though I know you all don’t do that too much.

  6. yep – weird weather all around. our family in Florida has a lake in their backyard (and a very wet dog who decided to try to swim in it). we have the stupid hots here and the west is on fire……

  7. Even in the UK the weather is bad – so many people have been flooded as the rainfall had been non-stop. We were in a drought situation a few weeks ago and now we have floods and the reservoirs are overflowing!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

  8. Cat's Cats says:

My boys say stand your ground (or height) Brian and don’t let those ladycats push you around ;-) It’s Canada Day so a long weekend for us – YAY!!!

That is a prime spot! Especially on hot HOT days. We’re purring that Mother Nature will step in and help the firefighters contain the fire. It is so scary just looking at pictures of the fire…it must be devastating for those affected by it. :(

  12. Selina says:

We are DEFINITELY going to try to stay cool this weekend, Brian! And we hope ya’ll do too.

MomKatt said once they get the AC fixed, it’s gonna run 12 hours without stopping, just to get us back down to “normal” inside the house!

    PURRS!

  14. Mollie says:

Yoooo’s so lucky to have it Hot! We had strongs winds today, flooding up the country. We will be thinking of all those with the fires, the flooding and all the other disasters that are happening, and think how lucky we are. :)

  17. prancer pie says:

It’s cod-awful hot here, too. We’re startin our easy early this weekend. Stay cool, furriends and keep OCCUPYING the kitteh tree!

  18. what a pity, summer heat is getting to you kitties? we don’t like hot. thankfully we live where it’s not always hot. but we live in california where there are wildfires this time of the year.

we paws for all the victims of wildfires.

  19. here, here for the purrayers for all those in the west fire zones. So much wildlife will be lost, beloved cats, dogs, and so many others. Not to mention people having lost their homes and most or all of their belongings. We are blessed in the San Francisco Bay Area, not hot, no fires. But, we remember the Oakland Hill fire in 1990…devastating. #pawcircle for all

  20. you stay inside with the cooling air, we are doing the same. Think we are having storms move in tonight.

  21. Abby says:

    Brian
We are joining you in having a heat wave. We cant imagine living with A/C but we are sure that some do. It is going to be in the triple digits here and very hot. It’s a good thing we are indoor only kitties. Have a good weekend.

    purrs

I am purring lots for everyone affected by the wildfires!

  23. We’re trying to stay cool too, Brian! Thank Cod for the cold air blower!!

  24. Sister Sascha’s tree has really become the happening spot, Brian you were very nice to Sister Dolly even in your refusal to move from the top spot.

We are purring very hard for those in the mountains with the wildfires and that the firefighters can get it under control.

  25. Katie Isabella says:

It’s so hot here that I am grateful I am an inside only kitty. Going to be in the 100′s the next 4 days. All of you stay cool and I’ll be back tomorrow to check on you all.

  26. Don’t they know a Boy needs his space? You can’t be crowded!

  27. Well, sweet Brian it does appear that you are giving sweet Sister Dolly the “move it on outta here” look. lol Hugs and nose kisses

  28. Catherine says:

We have had two nice days in a row up here in Saskatchewan! Woot woot!
