Mancat Monday: Odds N’ Ends – Help Wanted, Sister Kit, plus PetSmart Goodies

Brian's Home. Adopt cats, we deserve it!

I hope you all had a fun weekend. it sure has been cold down here in the South!  I sure am ready for window whiffie Spring!  Anyways, there are a few Odds N’ Ends for me to cover today, but I did notice that all of the ends are not at all odd!  Let’s start with the Help Wanted Part.  Over the past several years I’ve done a St. Patrick’s Day Photo Contest, but I am not going to be doing it any longer.  It is a really fun contest and gets lots of purrticipation.  If anyone would like to keep it running, please email me at brianfrum (at) gmail (dot) com.  As a reminder, you can see last years winners HERE.

I know you are wondering about our weekend with Sister Kit.  So far, so good.  On Saturday we had the bedroom door open for an hour and then on Sunday we had the door open for over three hours.  I went over to introduce myself to Sister Kit, she said hello to me, but no hissing or anything like that.  She didn’t run and hide under the bed either, so I’d say that is some really good progress.  Sister Kit did give a little hiss to Sister Zoe who promptly returned the favor.  Overall it went quite well and we’ll keep you posted, but we sure are proud of her!!!  Here is a pic of the event…

You can see Sister Kit in the pink chair, Sister Dolly on the black window seat and Sister Sascha on the bed.  Everyone was quite relaxed.

Finally, my friends at PetSmart wanted my to let my kitty pals know that when it comes to toys and entertainment, PetSmat hasn’t gone to the dogs, they are lots of kitty goodies too.  PetSmart is launching two great lines of purrrfect cat products from artist Laurel Burch and fashion icon Martha Stewart.  Artist Laurel Burch is known for fun, colorful paintings and jewelry. Now, her famous artwork of colorful cats can be seen on cat food bowls, feeding mats and more. These products are available Feb – May on PetSmart.com and in-store.

We are so happy everyone seem to be getting along pretty well with Sister Kit. Maybe Sister Zoe was warning Sister Kit to stay away from her toy piles? 😉

We are glad to hear that everyone is getting along over there for the most part! 🙂

Mom says she was at PetSmart the other day and saw some of the Martha Stewart toys. Maybe we can convince her to go back and get us one!!

That looks great, everyone being calm etc with Kit. If she lived outside, she must be a little used to other cats although, Baby Doll isn’t.
We sure are sorry you aren’t doing the St. Patricks day photo deal.
We will check out the stuff at Pet Smart, but Ohs used up all our green papers. So no new toys for us. That is OK, we have plenty of toys.
    Take care. Stay warm.

Its nice the sisters are getting along so well, even with a couple hisses! We have two here that after more than 2 and a half years, still aren’t allowed to look at each other. Our mom has given up hope!
