Mancat Monday: Happy Anniversary to Dad and Mom + A Birthday

Today is a special day for my Dad and Mom, it’s their 41st Wedding Anniversary, that’s like 196 cat years!  All of us kitties would like to wish them a very Happy Anniversary.

Oh, and today is my Birthday and I got the best present ever, Dad the Flat and the Hat came home safely!!!

Well, things are getting somewhat back to normal now that Dad, the Flat and the Hat have returned from BlogPaws.  I’ll have to help Dad sort out some pictures and go through his notes and help him figure out what might be the best things to share.

Of course there were all kind of things going on here while he was gone so I’ll have to catch him up on all of that too.  But we sure were glad to see him when he got home and we all gave him a proper greeting and furring.  Our Mom took extra good care of us while he was gone, but purrsonally, we all prefer to have both of them here, with us, where they belong!!!  Well, I’m off to sort some pics, catch y’all later!

Sister Saturday with Zoe

As you can see, I’ve just been hanging around having a good time!  For some reason Spring really brings out the best in me.  I love to rip and run and chase Brother Brian.  Oh, chasing Sister Gracie is fun too.  But sometimes they chase back, so I’ve got to be ready and have just the right escape route.  Hey, I’m small but mighty and I can usually out zip both of them.

But you know what else is fun?  Being a lap cat.  Seriously, I’m starting to like this lap stuff and honestly, this is a recent thing with me.  My Mom always wanted a lap cat and none of the others here are too much into the lap, except for Sister Dolly and she loves Dad’s lap.   So I decided I would give it a try, and I must say, I’m hooked, totally hooked.  You just simply get the best scritchies and tummy rubs when you are anywhere close to the lap.  My Mom is happy too.  She always called me her puppy because I follow her around and now she gets to call me her lap cat.  Really, that’s pretty darn exciting for both of us.  All in all I think it’s going to be a fun weekend and I hope your weekend is fun too!

T.G.I.F. Tortie Girl

Friday, where ya been pal?  Seems to me like you are late showing up, and you had best have a good excuse!   The weekend is coming and it’s time to have some fun.  You know, have a litte nip, kick back and relax.  That’s what it’s all about.  Sister Precious is leading us into the weekend with the T.G.I.F. this week…Tortie Girl Is Fun!

Sister Precious just has a blast hugging and kicking her Catnip Mini Tennis Balll from Nip and Bones.  She loves, loves, loves those things and she goes through them pretty darn quick too.  After a few days with Sister Precious they slowly stop looking like tennis balls and start looking like fuzzy round baby chickens MOL!  Hey, you just can’t argue with fun, and I hope your weekend is filled with it!

Thankful Thursday: Friends Are Great, It’s a BlogPaws Date

We love all of our blogging friends and today we are thankful for the opportunity to actually meet some of them and, of course, to make a whole new batch of friends.  I don’t know how many are actually attending BlogPaws, but the event actually is SOLD OUT.  How cool is that?  Pet bloggers from all of the place all in one place, some with their pets and some with their flats and plushies.  Dad, the flat and the hat are headed there today and will be there in plenty of time for the Opening Event Pawty, as long as the airline cooperates.

Lots of our pals are in the running for the Nose-to-Nose Social Media Pet Blogging Awards and the winners will be announced Saturday night.  Of course we will be cheering them all on!  As for me, I’m thankful that Flat Me is going and that I don’t have to ride in that big silver bird.
